Unemployment queues longest since 1999, only majority Lib Govt can fix the problem

Thursday 12 September 2013

Today’s catastrophic unemployment figures show why Tasmania desperately needs a strong, stable majority Hodgman Liberal Government with a plan to grow the economy and create jobs.

The unemployment rate of 8.6 per cent is the highest since April 2003, while the queue of unemployed is the longest since March 1999 at 21,500 people.

It’s clear that the Labor-Green minority experiment has destroyed our economy and only a majority Hodgman Liberal Government can fix the problems.
