Tasmania needs a majority government

Most Tasmanians would be aghast at Nick McKim's comments yesterday regarding minority government.

 Equally concerning is Lara Giddings’ continued failure to rule out yet another term of unstable and destructive Labor-Green minority government.

 The last thing Tasmania needs is another four years of minority government.

The Labor-Green minority government has been a disaster for Tasmania.

Unemployment is at 8.6 per cent, 10,000 full-time jobs have been lost and our economy is in recession.

What Tasmania needs is a strong, stable majority government with a plan to grow the economy and create jobs.

Only the Liberals can deliver that strong, stable majority government. We will not do deals and we will not govern in minority.

We will:

  •  Provide strong and stable majority government;
  • Build a modern economy to create jobs;
  • Cut red and Green tape to encourage investment;
  • Fix the budget; and
  • Rebuild essential services.
