Labor must take responsibility for worsening unemployment crisis

Today I met with a Tasmanian business owner who expects to be forced out of business by the end of the year as a result of Labor shutting down forestry to please the Greens.

The forest deal has been a politically motivated disaster right from the start.

It has locked up our vital timber resources, closed down businesses and claimed hundreds of jobs all in the promise of a peace which has never eventuated.

Another illegal protest today at Ta Ann again proves you can never please Green extremists.

It is time that Labor took responsibility for an unemployment problem they have helped create by continually giving in to the anti-everything Greens.

Only a majority Hodgman Liberal government has a Plan to grow the economy, encourage investment and create much needed jobs.
