How will Labor and the Greens fund their election promises?

With the spectacular collapse of the Aurora sale this week, Labor and the Greens now have no way to pay for any election promises.

Every election promise Labor or the Greens announce will mean Tasmania will go deeper into debt.

Over the last few years, Labor and the Greens have blown just about every single cent the Government had, including the $1.6 billion set aside to pay for the superannuation of public servants.

Having lost their war chest and with nothing left to plunder Labor and the Greens will take Tasmania deeper into debt to try and buy their way back into government.

In contrast the Liberals have prudently identified over half a billion in sensible savings which will enable us to grow the economy, create jobs and rebuild essential services – while also fixing the budget mess.
